White Work (Painter’s Pants)

Pieced together from deconstructed painter’s pants, each piece transforms a utilitarian garment synonymous with work into an object of rest. Canvas, seams, and pockets are reconfigured and reassembled through an intuitive, improvisational process, allowing new forms and textures to surface. Through this act of deconstruction and reconstruction, the material shifts from workwear to soft geometry—trading labor for leisure while honoring the garment’s origins and the integrity of its original design.
